Groene valleien, kristalheldere bergmeren, watervallen, rivieren en pittoreske bergdorpjes, waar de tijd lijkt stil te staan, volgen elkaar op.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>De volledige route bestaat uit tien dagelijkse etappes, elk 10-20 kilometer lang. Je loopt over berg- en grindpaden, paden en herderspaden. Het pad is niet onbeschut en je hoeft zelden je handen te gebruiken.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>De <strong>Moeilijkheid<\/strong> resultaten hier eerder uit de <strong>Lengte van de etappes - tussen 10 km en maximaal 20 km elk<\/strong>de <strong>Hoogteverschil van gemiddeld 1000 m<\/strong> en de <strong>deels slechte etikettering<\/strong>. Je moet dus een gezonde conditie hebben. De etappes beginnen meestal in de vallei en leiden over een pas terug naar beneden in de vallei. Het terrein is vaak rotsachtig en soms steil, maar tussendoor gaat het ook over bospaden en bergpaden langs groene weiden met ruige bergtoppen in de verte.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontSize\":\"30px\"}}} --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"zeitbedarf\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size: 30px;\">Duur van de wandeling<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>De tien etappes zijn allemaal in \u00e9\u00e9n dag te doen. Ik raad je echter aan om ten minste twee dagen uit te trekken om te rusten of voor dagen met slecht weer en twee dagen om van en naar de trail te reizen. In totaal heb je ongeveer 2 weken nodig om de hele Peaks of the Balkans Trail te voltooien.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"style\":{\"typography\":{\"fontSize\":\"30px\"}}} --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size: 30px;\">Welke bergen en pieken kun je zien?<\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Het hoogste punt op de route is Maja Jezerce (Albani\u00eb) op 2.694 meter. De zomermaanden zijn relatief warm in deze regio. Tijdens de zomermaanden (juli, augustus en september) ligt de gemiddelde temperatuur rond de 25 \u00b0C. Natuurlijk kan het in de hoger gelegen gebieden en vroeg in de ochtend koeler zijn. De meeste wandelaars zijn op pad in juli en augustus.
